Statement:

I work in gouache, pastel, ink and digital drawing. A lifelong painter/poet, images and words have always been the delight of my life. I am interested in symbolism and abstraction and frequently employ both in my work.

I explore whatever I am engaged with until it’s over for me at the time. This way of working results in series of work around an idea, a color, an image, a medium, a material, a form, a word, a poem, a conversation, all those things that invite curiosity and inquiry.
